Torah Studio
Torah Studio is a private iPhone app for preparing, recording, captioning, saving, and sharing short Torah teachings from Torah Tuesday.
The app keeps scripts, drafts, recordings, caption projects, and preferences on the user's device. A user can select one or several Google Docs for a visible Torah Tuesday Docs Library, choose one library Doc for a teaching, preview its spoken text, and pull it into a local draft. A user can also connect a Google account and upload a chosen video to that account's YouTube channel. Torah Studio does not edit Google Docs, scan unrelated Drive files, sync automatically, or upload anything automatically.
What Torah Studio can do
- Organize teaching ideas, drafts, completed scripts, and saved takes.
- Maintain a visible library of Google Docs the user explicitly selects, then pull the latest text and native emphasis from one chosen Doc with a preview before the local draft changes.
- Record video with an on-screen teleprompter.
- Use Apple Speech Recognition to help time captions, with review before export.
- Save selected videos inside Torah Studio and optionally copy them to Photos.
- Upload a selected video to YouTube after the user reviews its title, description, audience, and visibility settings.
Torah Studio does not sell user data, display advertising, or upload videos automatically.
